A rank tracker that charges per pin makes you collect less data

In development. Flat price, unlimited scans, runs on your machine.

Not for sale yet. In development. This page exists so you know what is coming, and so you can tell me if it is the one you want first.

This is the tool that started the whole thing. A local rank tracker was billing me per map pin, so every time I wanted to see how a client showed up across a grid of locations, the meter ran. I started running smaller grids less often, which meant I was deciding with less information in order to spend less on the thing that existed to inform the decision.

The scan runs on your own machine. There is no cloud cost per pin, so the meter was never a technical limit, it was a pricing choice wearing a technical costume. Flat price, run it as often as you like.

The practical result is that free prospecting audits become worth doing. Run a few hundred a month to find local businesses with a visibility problem, because each one costs you nothing but time.

What a grid actually tells you

A single rank for a keyword is close to meaningless in local search. You rank first from outside your own front door and eleventh from three miles away, and the second number is the one that matters for whether the phone rings.

That is why grid size and frequency are the two dials that should never be metered. A coarse grid checked monthly will miss exactly the drift you needed to catch.

FAQ

How is this different from the free rank checker extension?

The extension checks the search in front of you, one keyword, one location, when you ask. This runs a full grid on a schedule and keeps the history. Different jobs, and if the extension covers what you need then use that and keep your money.

If it runs locally, does my computer need to be on?

For a scheduled scan, yes. That is the honest trade for not paying per pin. A cloud tracker will run at three in the morning while your laptop is shut, and it will charge you accordingly.

What does flat pricing actually mean here?

One price, unlimited scans, unlimited pins, unlimited keywords. I have not set the number yet and I would rather say that than announce one I revise later.
